Tesla Shares Surge

Tesla ($TSLA@US) shares rose 5.3 percent in premarket trading on Monday at the prospect of Elon Musk stepping down as Twitter ($TWTR@US) CEO. Musk tweeted a poll on Sunday asking users whether he should step down as CEO of Twitter, with 57.5 percent in favor. The electric car maker closed last week at a two-year low, and its shares have dropped 58 percent since Musk disclosed that he’d taken a stake in Twitter.
